In the current context of the global health crisis, the University of Nantes ensures the continuity of its language trainings and offers distance education for all, with individualized monitoring.

Are you interested in discovering the French language and culture, updating your knowledge, improving your oral communication and written expression skills, enriching your vocabulary, and being able to understand and interact with French speakers?

Would you like to improve your mastery of the French language as part of a study continuation project in a French school or university?

The course offers intensive, innovative and interactive learning adapted to your needs, in groups of 12 to 16 students, with a team of experienced teachers who will allow you to work on your oral and written skills.

Wherever you are in the world, these training courses are accessible from your home, so join us!

Online courses: good IT equipment is necessary (computer, webcam, internet connection).

Prerequisite

Prerequisites training

The Summer Courses is open to candidates over 18 years old.
No diploma is required.

These courses are not suitable for total beginners (minimum level A2 required)
A placement test will place the participant in a suitable level group.
CEFR levels

Program

You can choose between two courses:

1. French Language and Culture (minimum level A2 * required)
This course offers a general language training from elementary to advanced level, based on collaborative projects that will allow you to discover certain aspects of French culture and interact with other learners. You will learn or strengthen the basics of French and develop your oral and written communication skills.

2. French for Academic Purposes (minimum level B1* required)
If you want to study in Higher Education in France and you would like to know more about the French academic methods, the module French for Academic Purposes offers language preparation to facilitate your integration into university and student life.

Our courses are built in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Registration Conditions

General terms and sales conditions

  • No refunds will be made after the beginning of the training. The registration and its payment are valid for acceptance of the general terms and sales conditions.
  • It is up to each trainee to have access to a computer station equipped with a good Internet connection, audio access, a webcam and a keyboard.
  • The registration for Campus Été does not give access to a student VISA.

Courses are open within the limit of available seats (16 students per virtual class) and subject to a minimum number of participants (12 students).
